Hello! Meet Veronika, she is a gifted healer and teacher who began practicing her craft over 20 years ago. Dedicated to the principles of mind/body medicine, she is a founding member of the holistic health and Mind/Body/Spirit community in her local and regional area. Veronika works full time as an energy healer and teacher in her area with over 20 years of formal and experiential training in her profession.
Veronika is a graduate of the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts in Scottsdale, AZ, where she studied Energetic Bodywork, Massage Therapy, Cranial Sacral & Polarity Therapy, Shiatsu, Energetic Acupressure and various other forms of energetic healing and modalities. She also met her first Reiki teacher during this time and became a Reiki Master/Teacher.
She is also a graduate of The Four Winds Society with a Professional Energy Medicine Practitioner degree and is a certified shamanic practitioner through The Four Winds and Dr. Alberto Villoldo, Founder.
After discovering the incredible healing impact holistic practices and Traditional Chinese Medicine had on her own personal healing journey, she began to study both professionally. Veronika spent many years traveling and studying various healing practices and modalities. The core premise of her work is that when you create the ideal environment internally with right nutrition, herbal therapies and energy or chi flow, all types of illnesses begin to resolve themselves. She eventually returned back to her home state of SD to begin to practice and to share her gifts and knowledge with others.
She has been teaching and practicing professionally in her field locally and regionally since 2001.
Veronika teaches a wide variety of energetic development classes including multiple types of Reiki, Hawaiian Shamanism/ Ho'oponopono, The 9 Rites of Munay Qi - Andean Shamanism, Singing Bowl Bodywork Training, Dragon & Tiger Medical Qi Gung, Sacred Drum & Rattle making workshops, Mindful Self Compassion Meditation, Mantra Classes and introductions into Mahayana Buddhism.
She has attuned hundreds of students to Reiki and taught Reiki for Sanford Hospital staff and volunteer program. Sanford Sioux Falls offers Reiki through its Volunteer Program as part of their integrative therapy program.
As more professional evidence based data has been published over the years, Reiki, energy balancing, singing bowls and acupuncture are now offered at all major hospitals, including the VA in her area.
She continues to facilitate bi-weekly Singing Bowl Meditations in Sioux Falls, regular regional events and present Sound Healing for integrative medical classes, most recently for Augustana College in SF, SD.
Veronika offers a regular class schedule, travels and presents her work for yoga studios, wellness events, medical institutions, retreats, private retreats, sobriety events, mental health practitioners and other creative spaces including a fashion show at one time.
The focus of her practice and teaching career is to promote the benefits of holistic medicine and spirituality in various forms. To uplift and inspire others to create their best lives in all its aspects. Physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.
In addition to her formal training, Veronika received her Master level of Tera Mai Reiki through Serge King, a Navaho medicine man who introduced her to the healing practices of Native American shamanism while living in Scottsdale, AZ in 2001.
She has also completed course work in World Religion at UNM-Albuquerque and Mahayana Buddhism at the UH-Hilo, Mindful Self Compassion with USC and additional Pre-Med coursework at the university level.
Veronika continued her studies in mind/body medicine and healing in Albuquerque, NM through private instruction from master healers, LeeAnn and Stephen LaJoie.
She also began studying with L'aura Kalaiki Bodmer in the Hawaiian healing tradition of Ho'oponopono who she worked with weekly for almost a year learning a traditional form of Ho'oponopono.
While living and studying in Albuquerque, she began to participate in traditional Lakota Inipi healing ceremonies with Pablo and Andrea Lopez. She has supported ceremony for 14 years with Harold and Elva Thompson is SD. She is grateful to carry pipe through the Lakota tradition.
Veronika has also completed a a 2yr. Business Administration degree and has been a non-denominational Ordained Minister since 2001. She has performed hundreds of wedding ceremonies since 2006 and offers end of life transitional healing work.
Veronika enjoys a busy private practice. She teaches a variety of personal and spiritual development classes that include Crystal Singing Bowl meditation, Reiki classes and attunements, Mantra classes, Dragon & Tiger Medical Qi Gung & Spiritual Housekeeping among other events.
Veronika also travels and speaks regularly about the medical and energetic application of Sound Therapy, Integrative Therapies, Energy Medicine and Reiki.
Veronika has taught Reiki for staff at St. Joseph's Indian School, presented energy healing and its benefits for treating anxiety, PTSD and other mental health issues to mental health practices.
She has presented Singing bowl meditation for students of Wayne State College and staff. She has taught massage techniques and presented Dragon & Tiger Medical Qi Gung as a symposium presenter for Sanford Health, SF.
Veronika is also the founder & co-creator of the Sioux Falls Holistic Health and Spirituality Fair. The Fair is the area's premier body/mind/spirit event focused on promoting holistic, integrative and spiritual therapies and practitioners. This yearly event also provides educational, inspirational and motivational tools for our local and regional community.
